What this role is about
Join an innovative climate-tech company developing next-generation water treatment and water reuse technologies. This role will lead the development, modeling, optimization, and scale-up of advanced hydrodynamic evaporation systems based on supercavitation. The engineer will combine deep scientific knowledge with practical engineering to improve industrial water treatment performance, optimize thermal processes, and support commercialization of breakthrough technology.
Ownership
What you will own
- Design and optimize hydrodynamic systems utilizing supercavitation principles.
- Develop mathematical and CFD models for evaporation and heat transfer processes.
- Perform engineering calculations involving fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and multiphase flow.
- Design and optimize reactor geometries and process equipment.
- Develop process flow diagrams, mass balances, and energy balances.
- Support technology scale-up from pilot systems to industrial deployment.
- Participate in laboratory, pilot, and industrial testing activities.
- Analyze experimental results and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams on innovative water treatment technologies.
Fit
What we look for
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Hydrodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Process Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, evaporation technologies, industrial water treatment, or desalination.
- Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer.
- Experience with mathematical modeling and engineering simulations.
- Knowledge of evaporation technologies and industrial process optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Experience working in R&D or deep-tech environments is highly desirable.
