Role overview
Our London-based client is expanding their mobile engineering function and is looking to hire multiple Senior iOS Engineers to join the team in the new year. This is a 100% remote engagement, outside IR35, working on high-impact consumer and/or enterprise mobile products used at scale. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams to build high-quality, performant mobile applications while helping shape technical direction and best practices across the mobile stack.

Responsibilities
- - Design develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks
- - Translate product and UX requirements into clean maintainable and scalable code
- - Take ownership of features from concept through delivery and post-release iteration
- - Collaborate with Android backend and product teams to deliver cohesive cross-platform experiences
- - Write unit integration and UI tests to ensure application reliability and performance
- - Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback and upholding high engineering standards
- - Optimize applications for performance memory usage and responsiveness
- - Contribute to architectural decisions technical documentation and continuous improvement of engineering processes
- - Support release management App Store submissions and post launch monitoring
Requirements
- - 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications
- - Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDKs (UIKit SwiftUI Combine etc.)
- - Solid understanding of iOS app architecture patterns (MVVM MVC Clean Architecture etc.)
- - Experience integrating RESTful APIs authentication and third party SDKs
- - Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines for mobile
- - Experience with testing frameworks (XCTest XCUITest Snapshot testing etc.)
- - Proven ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
